My approach

Silhouette of two men in suits, one adjusting the other's tie, standing in front of sheer curtains.

A bride once said to me “ you just never stop do you!” Thats’s right, from the moment I say hi in the morning to the moment we pack our bags to leave we never stop. I usually work with an assistant on the day. They are there to second shoot when needed and also a helping hand for me, another pair of eyes. Sometimes holding a flash or reflector. I am always taking pictures. It’s what I was mean to do from the moment I was bought my first camera form the age of 13.To be able to have captured so many amazing weddings & events over the last 25 years has been an amazing priveledge and continues to be so. So if it’s beautiful relaxed photography you want with a twist of fashion and romance you’ve come to the right place!

I believe in capturing things as they happen, waiting for the right moment. Documentary photography is a large part of how I shoot a wedding or event. So most of the day I will be there in the thick of it but hanging back just observing. Mix that with a taste for lighting and fashion and looking for the ‘ best ‘ light and you’ve got an all rounder photography approach.

One thing is for sure we don’t stop taking pictures! it’s what we are there to do and this shows in the moments that we capture.

Group shots

Group shots are a big part of any wedding day. Sometimes we take a few and sometimes a lot! it depends on what the individual couple require. Mostly it’s all about having fun and doing them quickly.

A group of women in formal dresses, likely a bride and bridesmaids, posing outdoors against a stone wall. They are holding bouquets of flowers and wearing beaded gowns in neutral tones. A young girl in a similar dress is sitting on the grass in front.

Portraits

Our couple shoot last on average around 20-30 mins. Whether it’s a walk in the grounds or a stroll through the streets of London we’ve got you covered.

The Party

The Wedding isn’t over until we’ve seen you on the dance floor! Over coverage is usually 2 hours after the first dance. For inner London Weddings its usually when the lights come on at midnight! We will capture the essence of the party to the details and all the bits in between. Also if there is time we will go outside with the two of you. A little fresh air and a few pictures to end the day!
